A Message from Paul Browne
Hello Everybody,
Thanks for the send off and the wonderful letter on the site! We finally picked up the bikes on Friday afternoon last and even though we took a day off on Tuesday to get the bikes serviced we've covered almost 3,500 KMs since then. Saddle sore would be one way of putting it! The Trans Canada highway is the most boring road in the world so I found a shortcut. We did about 80KMs of trails through the backwoods of Ontario, where we saw black bears and hunters (who seemed to be quite surprised to see an Irish couple on fully loads beemers riding around in the middle of no-where!). We've been camping, blagged a log cabin in a five star resort and we're taking a day off in a city called Moose Jaw. Al Capone used the city as a base for smuggling during the prohibition, I can feel his presence, its quite reasuring! We're going to tackle the Rockies next and ride up to Dawson city and then along the 'Top of the World' highway. For pictures and reports without spelling and grammer errors see
